Our Sales/Shipping Policies

Contact Us:

  • Due to the seasonal volume of business, it is requested that you contact us via email to check on item stock or other matters.
  • If you must call and get the recording service, please leave a detailed message and someone should get back to you as soon as possible.
  • We will not call you back on calls re: stock availability......You must email Customer Service to check on parts availability.

Minimum Order

  • Their is a minimum order charge of $25.00.  Minimum charge does not include order     charge or shipping cost.

Payment Methods:

  • We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card, PayPal or Cash payments in the form of Certified Bank Check or Money Order.

Visa / MasterCard…

  • If the Card Holder's Name and Address entered on the Order Form does not match the Card Holder's Name and Address on record with the Card Issuer, your order will be canceled. We do not accept non U.S. issued credit cards.
  • To place an order with Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express; please use our secure online shopping cart to place an order 24 hours a day. 
  • We no longer accept foreign issued credit cards.  Foreign transaction payments are made via bank wire transfer only.
  • When you place an order via the telephone or internet, you will NOT receive an imprint of the credit card transaction.  By placing the order via the internet, telephone or fax, you agree to give us permission to deduct the funds for the order including shipping ( if any ) from your credit card account.  Your approval number will appear on the invoice.  If you do not agree to the fact that you will not receive an imprint, please do not order.
  • You may also select the Phone/Fax/Mail option, during check out, and then fax the completed and signed form to 1-301-994-2085.

Pricing...

  • We try to maintain current pricing on the web.  With over 10,000 products, it is sometimes difficult to keep up with all of the manufacturers price changes.  If we go to process your order or have already processed your order and find that the manufacturer has increased the pricing, we will try to maintain the pricing that is listed on the web.  This is not always possible.  In this case, you will be notified of the pricing change and given the opportunity to order at the new price.  If we find that pricing is lower than posted, you will receive the lower pricing.
  • We try to maintain accurate description of the products that we sell but we will not be held responsible for wrong nomenclatures or description of products.

Cash Payments…

  • You can save more on your purchases by paying cash. (Bank check, money order, cashiers check.) WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS.  They will be returned to you.
  • NOTE: With Certified checks and money orders, your order will be sent right away.  With non certified bank checks, credit union checks, your check will have to "clear" the bank before your order can be shipped.
  • Cash Discount is based on deducting 3% ( x * .97) from the total cost of all items ordered. (Cash discounts do not apply to the shipping cost, if any.) EXAMPLE: Raymarine E02013, E120 display: $3,461.50 * .97 = $3,357.66 (you save $103.84). 
  • To receive cash pricing, select the Cash Discount option during check out. You will be emailed shipping cost if any and the preferred method of payment. You will also be Emailed the correct address for payment remittance.  You will need to mail the completed form with your payment to the address indicated on the email. If you do not enter your correct email address, you can not be notified.

PayPal…

  • Orders will not be processed without proper payment. Ship cost must be added to the cost of the merchandise.
  • To process your order via PayPal, select the PayPal option during check out.
  • When you select the PayPal payment method and submit the order, you will receive a return email ( during normal business hours ) with the amount of ship cost to be added to the order total  and the proper web address to make the Pay-Pal payment.  
  • NOTE: PayPal is not considered as cash payment.
  • We will only ship to the PayPal "CONFIRMED" USA address.
  • We will only ship if we are Eligible for "Seller Protection"
  • We cannot accept PayPal as payment on foreign transactions as the seller is offered "No Protection."

International Orders…    

  • International transactions are to be completed via Bank Telegraphic Transfer In Full In Advance.  Buyer is responsible for banking charges.  No foreign issued credit cards will be accepted.  Orders are only shipped " Freight prepaid "
  • E-mail us with the item (s) that you would like to purchase so that we may quote you the price with shipping; please state proper ship to address.
  • You will be responsible for any/all duties, taxes or V.A.T. on items that may be required by your country upon receiving goods.
  • A $30.00 bank wire fee will be added to the order. (Bank details available upon request.) 
  • Bank wire payments are treated as "Cash Payments" and will receive applicable discount.

Shipping…    

  • We only ship to the Billing Address of the Credit Card Holder. See below for shipping to different address
  • Minimum Ship cost is $8.60
  • Your shipping, insurance and handling cost will be determined at the time the items are shipped. The weight and number of boxes is used to determine ship cost on orders under $1,000.00 USD. Their will be a $3.00 handling charge added to each order.  If you wish to be contacted with the estimated shipping cost, please select YES in the Shipping Cost Notification section on the Order Form. You will be notified via e-mail and order will not be processed until we receive confirmation back that you approve of the ship cost.  Please note that notification will delay your order processing until we have your approval to process or not process order. If we have not received a response within 3 business days, your order will be canceled.
  • Their will be a $3.00 ship material / handling fee assessed to the order.
  • An Adult signature will be required for the goods received at the time of delivery by the appropriate courier.
  • Shipping cost for drop shipped items from the manufacturer may be estimated using their zip code to your zip code and estimated weight as stated by that manufacturer.
  • Most orders will be shipped the same day as received on "in stock" items. If items are not in stock, see Backorders below.  
  • Free common courier ground shipping within the US 48 states (CONUS) on most ELECTRONICS orders over $1,000.00. EXCLUSION: Antennas, radar antennas and mounts, inverters, transformers, chargers, windlass, Floscan Diesel Instruments, winches, angle guards, trim tabs, autopilots, 1KW transducers, hardware and oversized items. 
  • If you qualify for free shipping, our method of shipping will be common courier ground. If you want your order delivered by a courier or method other than common courier ground, please indicate under Special Instruction on the Order Form and you will be responsible for the total shipping cost. We DO NOT provide for free shipping on hardware and boat supplies.  
  • If order under $1,000.00, and depending on the size of the parcel, you pay standard common courier or USPS Priority ground rates with insurance plus $3.00 S/H fee.
  • If you refuse delivery after an order has been placed and sent, you will pay shipping charges both ways plus a restocking fee of 15%
  • We may use USPS Priority Mail Service on small items.  This method has generally shown to be less expensive with faster delivery. 
  • There is no free shipping on International orders.

Ship to Different Address...

  • If you want your order shipped to an address other than that of the credit card holder, you MUST call your credit card issuer and have them make a note of the temporary ship to address in your records.  Note ship to address in the Special Notes section of the order form.  If we process an order that has a secondary ship to address and that address is not on file with the card issuer, the order will be Canceled.

Back Orders…

  • Over 90% of the items listed on our web site are in stock. Low demand items like accessories are not usually in stock and may require as much as 3 week lead time.  If you order an item that is not in stock and you wish to keep it on order, select YES in the Back Order Notification section of the order form. The item will either ship from the manufacturer or be shipped when we get the item back in stock. 
  • Items that are 5 working days or less from the manufacturer will be considered as "In Stock" items and your order will be processed accordingly.
  • If you decide that you would like the item Back Ordered, your credit card will be charge at the time we place the order with the respective vendor/manufacturer.  
  • If you do not wish to have an out of stock item placed on back-order, select NO (this is the default) on the Back Order Notification section of the Order Form. If an item is not in stock among other items on the Order, you will be sent an email as to what item is not in stock and the expected wait time to see if you wish for the item to remain on order.
  • If it is a single item order and select "No Backorder Accepted", your order will be Canceled and you will be notified via return email that the order has been canceled so that you may try to locate the item elsewhere.
  • Once an order has been canceled by us and you wish to order the "Not In Stock" item, you will have to place a new order and select "YES" for Backorder Accepted.

Non-Stock Items

  • If we order non-stock items for you, inbound freight may be added to the cost of the item to get the item from the manufacturer into us.  This will be an addition to the freight charge to get the item from us to you.
  • Your must make payment for non stock item before we order same.

Returns

  • You have 20 days from the invoice sale date to return a product. The product must be new, in the original factory packaging and UNUSED. Please Email for a "Return Material Authorization Number" (RMA #) and the proper warehouse shipping address so that we can expedite your credit, replacement or refund. Failure to obtain a RMA number and ship to address will be assessed an automatic 15%. The cost of any components that is not returned or damaged will be deducted from any credit or refund due. We reserve the right to fully inspect all returns to determine proper credit. A restocking fee of 15% will apply if credit is not applied to another product.
      
  • NOTE: Electronic charts, software, CD ROMS, video tapes, life rafts, EPIRB'S, component circuit boards and special orders are not returnable unless defective, and then for replacement only.
      
  • If you feel that a product is defective after installation, please contact the appropriate factory for assistance. In many cases, a simple phone call to the manufacturer can resolve your problem quickly and painlessly! If the problem can not be resolved by a call to the manufacturer, call us. Remember, there is no substitute for reading the manual!

Pricing...

  • We try to maintain accurate pricing and product descriptions.  However, we will not be held responsible for wrong nomenclatures, description or pricing of products.

Software…

  • All sales are final on software, CD ROMS, Video Tapes and electronic charts.

Sales Tax…

  • We are not obligated to collect sales tax on orders shipped out of the State of Maryland, as we have no facilities in other states. A 5% sales tax applies to Maryland orders.
